Fiscal Year 2027 H-1B Initial Registration Selection Process Completed

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has received enough electronic registrations for unique beneficiaries during the initial registration period to reach the fiscal year (FY) 2027 H-1B numerical allocations (H-1B cap), including the advanced degree exemption (master’s cap). The USCIS portal has updated all accounts to reflect "selected" for those who can proceed to file an H-1B petition between 4/1/2026 and 6/30/2026.  For those cases that continue to reflect "submitted," they will remain eligible for any second or third selections that are announced but have not been selected in the initial round.
